About Patrick Donovan

Patrick Donovan is an average Catholic husband and father. He has been a teacher, retreat leader, workshop presenter, diocesan director of youth and young adult ministry, and now serves the Diocese of Bridgeport as the director of The Institute for Catholic Formation. He has authored or co-authored four books and more than fifty articles on using movies in ministry. In addition to his day job, Patrick is an adjunct faculty member at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

He holds a degree in communications from the University of Tennessee, an MA in theology from the University of Notre Dame, and a doctorate in theology from La Salle University.

Patrick is married to Maureen Gross and they have four children. The family lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, and are members of St. Anthony of Padua parish.
